亚太实验室认可组织（APLAC）很高兴的宣布与非洲认可合作组织（AFRAC）签署谅解备忘录。谅解备忘录是在近期由APLAC主席Chang Kwei Fern女士和AFRAC主席Ron Josias签署完成。
AFRAC 和APLAC同为国际实验室认可合作组织（ILAC）的成员，谅解备忘录的范围除了包含作为ILAC成员的角色和责任外，还覆盖了AFRAC 和APLAC在认可和合格评定政策方面的的关系。
一些合作的领域和职责包括培训和发展、能力验证计划和技术问题的支撑。
备忘录将至少每3年评估一次。
APLAC希望与AFRAC更紧密的合作。
APLAC signs MOU with AFRAC
APLAC is very pleased to announce that it now has an Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the African Accreditation Cooperation (AFRAC). The MOU was recently signed by Ms Chang Kwei Fern, whilst she was Chair of APLAC, and Mr Ron Josias, Chair of AFRAC.
The scope of the MOU covers the relationship between AFRAC and APLAC on matters of accreditation and conformity assessment policy, and sits besides the roles and responsibilities that the parties already have towards each other, arising from their memberships in the International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC).
Some areas of cooperation and responsibility include training and development, Proficiency Testing programs and support on technical matters.
The MOU will be reviewed at least every three years.
APLAC looks forward to working more closely with AFRAC
